Job Summary

Rathje Woodward LLC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced litigation associate to join its dynamic and long-established practice. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for handling complex litigation matters, including performing legal research, drafting legal documents, and attending court hearings.

This is an excellent opportunity for attorneys who are ready to take on a significant role in all aspects of a case. You will work closely with clients, opposing counsel, and other stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform legal research and analysis to support case development
  • Draft and review legal documents, including memoranda, motions, and pleadings
  • Attend court hearings and represent clients in a professional and effective manner
  • Handle discovery-related matters and investigations
  • Prepare for, take, and defend depositions
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement case strategies
Requirements
  • Must be licensed to practice law in Illinois and in good standing
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of litigation experience, preferably in complex commercial and/or labor and employment matters
  • Excellent analytical, writing, and communication skills
