About the Role

We're seeking a skilled Senior Underwriter to join our Construction team. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for underwriting and managing complex construction projects, ensuring that our customers receive the right coverage for their unique needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with agents, brokers, and customers to ensure exceptional service and support.
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments and underwriting analyses to determine accurate premiums and coverage levels.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate potential risks and opportunities.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices to ensure compliance and excellence in underwriting.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • At least 3 years of construction casualty underwriting experience.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to think analytically and make sound decisions.
  • Valid driver's license (company pool car may be provided).
