Job Overview

Vail Resorts is seeking a highly skilled Strategic Social Media Manager to support the development and execution of organic and paid social media strategies across its portfolio of brands.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of social media marketing principles, including content creation, community engagement, and analytics. They will be responsible for facilitating organic and paid amplification (boosting) social media strategy, performance, and go-to-market integration for all brands within the Vail Resorts' portfolio.

This role will report to the Director of Influencer and Social Media Marketing and will play a key part in supporting social media initiatives that drive the financial performance of Vail Resorts' lines of business.

The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective professional relationships with co-workers and external partners. They will also have strong project management skills, with the ability to work against tight deadlines and adapt to changing priorities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute organic and paid social media strategies to drive engagement and conversions
  • Manage social media measurement and reporting for the full Communications team
  • Provide platform operations support, including Meta Business Manager account setup and portfolio verifications
  • Collaborate with regional social teams to provide strategic guidance and support

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field
  • 5+ years of professional experience in social media marketing
