Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team in the Cardiovascular Lab at Allina Health. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing and assisting with procedures in diagnostic and interventional radiology, including cardiovascular, peripheral endovascular, and structural heart procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Completes procedures in compliance with physician orders and department guidelines
  • Identifies patients with two identifiers and documents accurately all needed aspects of the procedure
  • Observes and communicates with patients, responding to their needs and maintaining a safe patient environment in the procedure area
  • Performs procedures with a high degree of accuracy and demonstrates appropriate knowledge of all diagnostic equipment
  • Provides accurate clerical functions, including using Excellian (electronic medical record) and ensuring all documentation is complete post-procedure
  • Communicates with supervisors and team members, reporting problems, issues, or ideas and providing assistance, ideas, and information to support the work of others
Requirements
  • Vocational or Technical Training graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology
  • 2 to 5 years of experience in a Cardiovascular Laboratory, with 2 years strongly preferred
  • Registered Technologist - The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registration required upon hire
  • BLS Tier - Basic Life Support - Multisource required upon hire and ACLSBLS2AH required within 180 Days
