Hotel Maintenance Technician

As a Hotel Maintenance Technician with O'Reilly Hospitality Management, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, including minor painting, plumbing, electrical work, and equipment upkeep. You will replace air-conditioner filters and maintain HVAC systems, notify management of major repair needs, and perform preventative maintenance to ensure the appearance and safety of hotel interiors and exteriors, including pools and common areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain the overall condition and cleanliness of hotel facilities, ensuring guest satisfaction and compliance with OHM standards.
- Perform regular inspections to identify potential issues and take corrective action to prevent damage or loss.
- Collaborate with other departments to meet operational needs and respond to guest service requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Ensure proper inventory management, ordering supplies as needed to maintain adequate stock levels.
- Document all maintenance activities, repairs, and room inspections accurately and thoroughly.
- Familiarize yourself with and adhere to emergency procedures and safety protocols, promoting a culture of safety and guest satisfaction.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to motivate and lead a team to meet OHM and brand standards.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and ability to multitask, prioritize, and handle pressure.
- Certificate from a Vocational Institution in HVAC, plumbing, or electrical repair preferred, along with a current Driver's License.
