Salary Information

The estimated salary for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate records of shipping and receiving activities in Houston and Odessa, Texas warehouses.
  • Enter customer sales orders and invoices with precision.
  • Process inbound and outbound shipments, including assigning batch numbers, picking orders, contacting carriers, and completing shipping paperwork.
  • Organize and maintain a file system for all shipping and receiving documents, ensuring completeness and compliance.
  • Monitor shipping and receiving schedules and communicate status updates effectively.
  • Generate reports and documents as required by management.
  • Verify signatures, completion of blending documents, and random quality control checks are completed, documented, and filed accurately.
  • Ensure four scale tickets are completed for each load departing the Houston facility and attached to the relevant Bill of Lading.
  • Arrange transportation from the Houston Port to warehouses in the USA and Canada via truck and/or railcar.
  • Prioritize tasks, work independently, and respond to changing priorities and customer demands.
  • Foster effective communication with customers and vendors through phone and email.
  • Load, unload, and move products and materials manually or using basic material handling equipment.
  • Perform other duties assigned by the Warehouse Manager.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in a warehouse environment.
  • Proven experience in shipping and receiving, with a strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and adapt to changing priorities and customer demands.
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to develop positive working relationships with colleagues.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with proficiency in English and Chinese.
  • A valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
