Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled High Performance Computing (HPC) Systems Administrator to join our team at BAE Systems USA. As an HPC Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for the installation, configuration, and maintenance of HPC systems, as well as providing technical support and troubleshooting services to ensure the smooth operation of our HPC infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, configure, and maintain HPC systems, including servers, storage, and networking equipment
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting services to ensure the smooth operation of HPC systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain HPC infrastructure
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and procedures for HPC systems
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest HPC technologies and trends, and make recommendations for improvements and upgrades
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
  • 10+ years of experience in HPC systems administration, or equivalent experience
  • Strong knowledge of HPC systems, including servers, storage, and networking equipment
  • Excellent technical skills, including programming languages, scripting, and troubleshooting
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
Preferred Qualifications
  • Industry-recognized professional certification in HPC systems administration
  • Experience with cloud-based HPC systems and services
  • Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes
  • Experience with DevOps practices and tools, such as Jenkins and Git
