Job Summary

Farfield Systems is seeking a highly skilled Senior IT Systems Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our complex IT systems, ensuring seamless operation and optimal performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement, troubleshoot, and maintain IT systems, including network devices, mobile devices, and server hardware.
  • Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for IT systems, including problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution.
  • Manage the daily activities of configuration and operation of IT systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
  • Assist users in accessing and using IT systems, providing technical support and guidance as needed.
  • Optimize system operations and resource utilization, performing system capacity analysis and planning.
  • Provide in-depth experience in trouble-shooting IT systems, analyzing and resolving complex problems associated with server hardware, applications, and software integration.

Requirements:

  • 15 years of experience as an SA in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university.
  • DoD 8570 compliance with Information Assurance Technical (IAT), Level III or higher.
  • CISSP Certification.

Optional:

  • Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems.
  • Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for IT systems, including problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution.
  • Manage the daily activities of configuration and operation of IT systems.
  • Assist users in accessing and using IT systems.
  • Optimize system operations and resource utilization, performing system capacity analysis and planning.
  • Provide in-depth experience in trouble-shooting IT systems.
  • Provide detailed analysis and feedback to agency management and internal customers for escalated tickets.
  • Support the design of systems, mission architecture, and associated hardware.
  • Possess a working knowledge and understanding of system administration interdependencies as part of the Service Oriented Architecture (SOA).
  • Analyze and resolve complex problems associated with server hardware, applications, and software integration.
