About the Role

The Veterinary Assistant plays a vital role in our hospital team, supporting veterinarians and veterinary technicians to ensure the safety of pets, clients, and associates, and the continuity of quality veterinary care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist veterinarians and veterinary technicians with medical procedures and patient care
  • Ensure the hospital environment is safe and clean for patients, clients, and staff
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to clients and their pets
  • Participate in training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
  • Previous experience in animal care or a related field; on-the-job training provided
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
