Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Technical Robotics Engineer Lead to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for leading the testing efforts for autonomous systems implemented in ROS.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leverage your expertise in system engineering best practices to develop test specifications that verify software requirements with performance metrics.
  • Create and maintain test cases and metrics within MBSE.
  • Develop and run tests using software, simulation, and/or vehicle to collect data for ROS-based autonomous ground vehicle systems.
  • Assist requirements engineers and architects with decomposition of complex software systems.

Requirements and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you must have at least 5 years of experience implementing system engineering best practices with a focus on V&V, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. Additionally, you should have basic knowledge of vehicle controls, sensors, autonomous systems, and functional safety.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience in robotics and autonomous systems.
  • Understanding of perception, behavior, planning, and motion control of a robotic system.

Compensation and Benefits:

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a motivated individual with a strong technical background. We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $160,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package.
