About the Role:

Evaluates and treats patients with various therapy needs, providing individualized care plans to address their specific requirements. Works collaboratively with healthcare teams to ensure seamless delivery of services. Provides education and support to patients and families, empowering them to take an active role in their recovery. Maintains accurate records and documentation, adhering to regulatory standards and professional guidelines. Develops and implements treatment plans, incorporating evidence-based practices and staying up-to-date with industry advancements. Demonstrates strong critical thinking skills, making informed decisions to drive effective care. Utilizes communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare colleagues. Fosters a culture of respect, empathy, and compassion, promoting a supportive environment for all individuals. Collaborates with other departments to ensure smooth transitions and optimal outcomes. Participates in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of strategies to enhance patient care and satisfaction. Stays current with industry developments, best practices, and regulatory changes, applying this knowledge to improve service delivery. In addition to these responsibilities, the Speech Language Pathologist will have the opportunity to participate in multidisciplinary teams, share expertise, and contribute to the growth and development of the organization.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, candidates must possess a Master's degree in Speech Pathology or Communication Disorders, as well as current certification from the Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies. A Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer is also required. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as is the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Critical thinking skills and the capacity for decisive judgment are necessary for success in this position. The ideal candidate will be able to prioritize tasks, manage multiple responsibilities, and maintain accurate records while delivering exceptional patient care. Additionally, the selected candidate should be willing to adapt to changing circumstances, navigate ambiguity, and demonstrate resilience in the face of challenges.

Salary Range:
$41.27 - $61.49 per hour
