Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Speech Pathologist to join our team at Yampa Valley Medical Center in Steamboat Springs, CO. As a key member of our therapy team, you will be responsible for evaluating and treating patients with speech and language disorders.

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate patients' communication skills and develop effective treatment plans to improve their ability to communicate effectively.
  • Provide one-on-one therapy sessions to patients with speech and language disorders, using evidence-based techniques and strategies.
  • Work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless coordination of care and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate records of treatment sessions.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in speech pathology, attending conferences and workshops as needed.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Master's degree in Speech Pathology or Communication Disorders from an accredited institution.
  • Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with the Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
