CEI Senior Inspector

Infrastructure Consulting & Engineering, LLC (ICE) is seeking a highly skilled CEI Senior Inspector to oversee the inspection of construction projects.
Responsibilities- Demonstrate effective communication skills in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Possess a strong understanding of the Department's Procedures pertaining to the assigned project duties and be proficient in relevant computer programs.
- Exercise independent judgment in planning work details and making technical decisions related to field aspects of the project.
- Perform highly complex technical assignments, including field surveying, construction layout, engineering computations, construction work inspections, and field tests.
- Coordinate and supervise lower-level inspectors.
- Work under the general supervision of the Project Administrator.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- For candidates with engineering, engineering technology, or construction management degrees: Minimum of one (1) year of CEI experience in the construction of roadway or bridge structures.
- For candidates without engineering, engineering technology, or construction management degrees: Minimum of four (4) years of CEI experience in roadway or bridge construction.
- A valid Driver's License is required with a safe driving record and must complete a pre-employment screening.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

- CTQP Final Estimates Level I.
- CTQP Concrete Field Technician Level I.
- CTQP Concrete Field Inspector Level II (Bridges).
- CTQP Asphalt Roadway Level I.
- CTQP Asphalt Roadway Level II.
- CTQP Earthwork Construction Inspection Level I.
- CTQP Earthwork Construction Inspection Level II.
- CTQP Pile Driving Inspection.
- CTQP Drilled Shaft Inspection (mandatory for inspection of all drilled shafts, including miscellaneous structures such as sign structures, lighting structures, and traffic signal structure foundations).
- CTQP Grouting Technician Level I.
- CTQP Post-Tensioning Technician Level I.
- IMSA Traffic Signal Inspector Level.
- FDOT Intermediate MOT.
- Nuclear Radiation Safety.
- Florida Stormwater, Erosion, and Sedimentation Control Training and Certification Program for Inspectors and Contractors.
This position requires minimal lifting of up to 50 pounds sometimes on a frequent basis.
The employee must be able to travel and tour work sites under adverse environmental conditions not limited to loud noise levels, high dust and dirt, and extreme temperature.
The employee must be able to visually examine construction materials and finished structures and work in various types of weather and field conditions, including heights, uneven terrain, highway traffic, hazards of highway construction sites and heavy equipment.
