Key Responsibilities- Act as a floater and cover shifts within designated districts.
- Drive a box truck to scheduled locations to load donations and unload to dedicated yards.
- Open the location each assigned day and prepare the site for business.
- Interact with donors in a positive and friendly manner, acquiring donations and engaging in pleasant conversation.
- Assist donors with their donations and help to unload their vehicles.
- Record details and organize the collection site to achieve maximum efficiency.
- Maintain overall cleanliness and safety standards of the site.
- Perform all opening and closing procedures.
- A clean MVR with a valid DL.
- Reliable transportation and commitment to attendance and punctuality.
- The capacity to adjust work functions throughout the day.
- Service-oriented with an outstanding ability to interact with people.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Honesty and integrity.
- Ability to lift 50lbs continuously throughout the day.
- Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the day.
- Ability to work outside in varying weather conditions.
- Willingness and ability to work weekend days as a regular part of the position schedule.
- Ability to work independently without continuous supervision.
This role requires working in a fast-paced environment with frequent interactions with donors. The ability to work independently and make decisions with minimal supervision is essential. The GreenDrop Floating Site Attendant will be required to work in varying weather conditions and lift 50lbs continuously throughout the day.
