Job Title: Processing Maintenance Technician

At Ya Ya Foods USA LLC, we are seeking a skilled Processing Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our production equipment, maintaining a safe and healthy work environment, and contributing to the overall success of our organization.

Responsibilities:
  • Install, startup, and shutdown equipment in accordance with company safety policies and OSHA requirements.
  • Perform mechanic skills, including but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and troubleshooting for the repair and maintenance of production equipment.
  • Carry out necessary logistics work, including receiving of goods, preparation of goods for upcoming production orders, and loading of bulk product for shipment.
  • Comply with all rules and policies regarding health safety, occupational safety, environmental safety, food safety, legal regulations, company requirements, etc.
  • Maintain strict GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices).
  • Comply with the Company's Integrated Management Systems, which includes, but is not limited to, Production, Quality, Food Safety & GMP.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • High school, GED, or equivalent education. Trade or vocational school education is preferred.
  • 2 years of experience working in a maintenance role in various environments is required.
  • Experience with blending systems, pumps, valves, and think tops.
  • Experience working in a food and beverage manufacturing facility is preferred.
  • Preferred Industrial electrical up to 480 VACS, Controls, PLC/software & hardware experience.
  • Experience with homogenizers, sterilizers, & Hydraulics is preferred.
  • Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force at times and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
  • Ability to work in cold and hot environments (approximately 38F-80F degrees).
  • Ability to repeat motions that may include use of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers, and standing or sitting for prolonged periods (average 8-12 hours).
