PAID CNA TRAINING

The Masonic Villages of Pennsylvania - Elizabethtown Campus is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant Trainee to join our team. As a CNA Trainee, you will assist residents with activities of daily living, perform various resident care activities, and related non-professional nursing services.

Our CNA Trainees are responsible for:
  • Assisting residents with bathing, hair care, nail care, mouth care, feeding, back care, and toileting.
  • Performing procedures included in the NA training manual.
  • Following instructions from the RCR and RNP.
  • Completing and documenting all care as assigned accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Assisting residents during meals, feeding those unable to feed themselves, serving, and collecting trays.
  • Replenishing ice and water in resident rooms as needed.
  • Transporting residents using a wheelchair or assisting residents to ambulate to activities or special appointments.
  • Assisting licensed personnel with special treatments.
  • Taking vital signs, TPR, and blood pressure; recording Intake & Output; emptying and changing catheter drainage bags as directed.
  • Observing residents and answering call bells in a timely manner to determine residents' needs.
  • Reporting any unusual conditions or reactions to the supervisor.

Requirements:
  • High School graduate preferred, but not essential.
  • Must hold current Nursing Assistant certification or participate in on-the-job orientation leading to certification (required).
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
