Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at Brandenburg Nursing and Rehabilitation. As a key member of our care team, you will provide high-quality resident care, ensuring the physical and emotional well-being of our residents.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct resident care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming, as well as assisting with activities of daily living.
  • Assist residents with bowel and bladder functions, and provide incontinent care as needed.
  • Transport residents to appointments, activities, and social programs, and assist with lifting, positioning, and transferring residents.
  • Monitor resident's activities and report any irregularities to nurse managers.
  • Participate in and receive nursing report upon reporting and departing to/from work.
  • Clean instruments and equipment, and maintain the cleanliness of resident units, central bathing area, treatment and supply rooms, workrooms, and linen closets.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have a strong ability to communicate with residents and nursing staff, and be able to speak, read, and write English. Prior experience as a LTC nursing assistant is preferred, and you must be in good standing in the state registry.
