Key Responsibilities:- Exhibit exceptional patient care skills by explaining procedures to patients, reducing anxieties, and obtaining patient cooperation.
- Prepare and position patients for examinations, ensuring optimal diagnostic quality and patient comfort.
- Select and operate ultrasound equipment to produce high-quality images of internal organs, adhering to specifications and guidelines.
- Record and maintain accurate test data in our electronic health records system, ensuring seamless communication with healthcare teams.
- Orient new hires and provide training to ensure a smooth onboarding process and maintain high team performance.
- 3+ years of continuous ultrasound experience within the last 6 years, with no more than 1 year break in experience within the last 4 years.
- High School Diploma/GED required.
- 3 certifications from the following list: Reg Diagnostic Med Sonographer Pediatric Sonography Certification, Reg Diagnostic Med Sonographer Fetal Echocardiography Certification, Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer Pediatric Echocardiogram Certificate, Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Certificate - Breast, Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Certificate - Abdomen, Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Certificate, Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer Certificate, Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Certificate - Ob-Gyn, Basic Life Support.
