Key Responsibilities
  • Project Analysis: Review project documents, including blueprints, technical drawings, and project specifications, to understand the scope of work.
  • Cost Breakdown: Calculate the cost of materials, labor, equipment rentals, permits, and other relevant expenses.
  • Quote Gathering: Obtain price quotes from subcontractors and suppliers for various aspects of the project.
  • Risk Assessment: Identify potential risks and contingencies that could impact project costs.
  • Estimate Preparation: Create comprehensive cost estimates, including detailed breakdowns of materials, labor, and other costs.
  • Client Presentations: Present cost estimates to clients, explaining the rationale behind the pricing and addressing any concerns.
