Educational Sign Language Interpreter

Position Overview:
We are seeking a qualified Sign Language Interpreter (SLI) to facilitate communication in an educational environment. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 1+ years of interpreting experience and be dedicated to supporting deaf and hard of hearing students.
Role Responsibilities:
As an Educational Sign Language Interpreter, you will be responsible for:
- Providing interpretation services for a high school student on a 1:1 basis.
- Ensuring effective communication between deaf/hard of hearing individuals and hearing individuals.
- Utilizing established techniques for educational communication.
Work Schedule:
This is a full-time position, requiring 35 hours per week throughout the academic year.

Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in American Sign Language (ASL) or Educational Interpreting.
- RID and/or NIC Certifications.
