We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Ascension Seton Northwest. As a RN Behavioral Health Specialist, you will provide direct patient care to behavioral health patients in accordance with established policies and procedures.
Responsibilities- Perform initial and ongoing bio-psychosocial assessments according to accepted standards of nursing practice.
- Develop a nursing plan of care consistent with the master treatment plan.
- Implement nursing plan of care for assigned patients and conduct group therapy sessions.
- Evaluate patient's response to interventions and revise nursing plan of care as needed.
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 month of hire date required.
- Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date required.
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing or required professional licensure at time of hire.
- 1 year of RN experience.
- 1 year behavioral health experience a plus.
