Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Manufacturing Safety Coordinator to join our team at FIC America. As a key member of our safety team, you will be responsible for ensuring a safe and healthy work environment for our employees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the administration and distribution of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safety devices for machines.
  • Assist in the design and implementation of safety programs to prevent, correct, and/or control unsafe and noncompliant conditions.
  • Investigate accidents to determine causes and develop strategies to prevent future incidents.
  • Plan and test emergency systems and procedures to ensure proper preparation.
  • Review and evaluate new and existing operations to identify and resolve safety issues.
  • Perform hazard analysis to identify and mitigate safety risks.
  • Train employees on Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations.
  • Conduct safety audits and advise management on safety issues.
  • Maintain all necessary documentation and reports.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment or related education.
  • Familiarity with OSHA regulations.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills.
  • Proficient oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to cross-train and adapt to changing situations.
  • Compliance with FIC's Attendance and Punctuality Policy.
  • OSHA 30-Hour Certification preferred.
