Manufacturing Process Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our team at Jobot. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards, utilizing lean manufacturing principles to eliminate waste and improve workflow, and developing and optimizing manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance product quality.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure compliance of safety regulations and quality standards.
- Utilize lean manufacturing principles to eliminate waste and improve workflow.
- Develop and optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance product quality.
- Develop and implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality.
- Design layouts for manufacturing processes and equipment setups.
- Analyze workflow, space requirements, and equipment layout to maximize efficiency through Lean Manufacturing.
- Provide technical support and training to production staff.
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions.
- Monitor and analyze production data to identify areas for improvement.
- Develop project timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
- Implement corrective actions for any quality issues that arise.
- Own manufacturing or assembly process from prototype through end of life.
- Ensure Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) routing detail is correct for accurate cost and quality detail.
- Perform Return On Investment (ROI) calculations on capital equipment and make/buy analysis.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles, experience with manufacturing process optimization, and excellent technical and communication skills.
