Senior iOS Software Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior iOS Software Engineer to join our Proximity Systems Team at Apple. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering high-quality iOS software solutions that enable innovative location-aware experiences for our users.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop iOS software applications that utilize wireless sensing technologies, such as Bluetooth Low Energy and WiFi.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate location technologies into our iOS ecosystem.
  • Develop and maintain large-scale iOS codebases, ensuring high performance, scalability, and reliability.
  • Participate in code reviews, provide feedback, and contribute to the improvement of our software development processes.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest iOS development trends, technologies, and best practices.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of professional experience as a software developer on mobile or embedded platforms.
  • Strong understanding of modern object-oriented programming languages, such as C++ and Swift.
  • Experience with wireless technologies, including ranging, location, and sensing.
  • Comfortable scripting and developing in Unix-like systems.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, developing large and complex systems.
  • Experience with refactoring legacy code and navigating large codebases.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Background in Bluetooth Low Energy, WiFi, and GNSS.
