Nurse Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Forensic Mental Health Program within the Direct Care and Treatment division of the Minnesota Department of Human Services.
Job Responsibilities- Provide experienced, professional nursing care to clients in a therapeutic environment.
- Assess the needs of clients, develop individualized nursing plans, and evaluate the effectiveness of the plan.
- Collaborate with the multi-disciplinary team to provide direct nursing interventions and delegate specific nursing tasks to appropriate staff.
- Graduation from an approved nursing school.
- Current licensure in Minnesota as a Registered Nurse.
- Ability to pass/perform CPR, First Aid, and Therapeutic Intervention.
- Patient care experience within a mental health or behavioral health setting is preferred.
