Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our team at UW Health. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing quality care to our patients, working closely with our specialists to support women's health.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for examination, obtain vital signs, and document chief complaint, medications, and allergies.
  • Assist with exams and procedures, promoting healthy lifestyles and wellness.
  • Provide pre-visit planning and support to ensure seamless patient care.
Requirements
  • Minimum - High School Diploma or equivalent and ONE of the following: Completion of an accredited medical assistant program, Licensure as an LPN, Completion of the UWH Medical Assistant Apprenticeship Program, Attainment of the CCMA certification as a UWH employee, Acceptance into the UWH MA Apprenticeship Program - Accelerated, or One year of recent Medical Assistant experience and CMA, RMA or CCMA Certification.
  • Preferred - One (1) year of experience as a Certified Medical Assistant or LPN.
