Job Overview

MIKID is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Family Support Specialist to join our team of professionals who are committed to rebuilding communities one family at a time.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide support, guidance, and direction to members attending Community or Center-Based programs.
  • Offer MIKID licensable services to primary caregivers while supporting the emotional, physical, and mental well-being of members and their families.
  • Services may be provided in the child's home, a licensed facility, or in the community.
Requirements
  • High School degree or equivalent required.
  • At least 21 years old in accordance with medical licensing regulations.
  • One year of experience in behavioral health or childcare required.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, along with excellent organizational abilities, are essential.
  • Preference is given to candidates with prior experience in the behavioral health field and those who demonstrate bilingualism.
  • Candidates should also possess CPR/First Aid Certification and a current Arizona Fingerprint Clearance or have the ability to obtain one.
  • A valid Arizona Driver's License, business use vehicle insurance, and vehicle registration are necessary.
  • Completion of all necessary paperwork and mandatory training prior to providing services is also required.
