Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement a comprehensive visual arts program that meets the needs and abilities of our students.
- Plan and deliver lessons that promote creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their growth and development.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum that aligns with district standards.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure a positive and supportive learning environment.
- Stay up-to-date with best practices in visual arts education and incorporate new ideas and technologies into the classroom.
- Master's degree in Visual Arts Education or a related field.
- Appropriate content/program area educator license (Visual Art) and grade level licensure from the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education.
- Proven experience in teaching visual arts to elementary school students.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
