Salary and Benefits
The salary for this role is approximately $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience. Our comprehensive benefits package includes medical, dental, vision, 401(k) matching, paid time off, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
Job Description
This exciting opportunity as an ECN Coordinator will enable you to play a pivotal role in the manufacturing process. Your primary responsibility will be to maintain data storage on the computer network and master files according to ISO standards. Additionally, you will be responsible for reviewing, preparing, and implementing engineering change orders (ECOs) for manufacturing assembly instructions.
- Maintain data storage on the computer network and master files per ISO standards.
- Responsible for review, preparation, and implementation of Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) for manufacturing assembly instructions.
- Responsible for the interpretation of Engineering documentation, drawings, and blueprints for defining manufacturing process flow.
- Work with the process area and Manufacturing Engineering to define process flow.
- Update MRP database routing and production status.
- Publish and present weekly and monthly reports of department performance.
- Coordinate the ECO activities for manufacturing and work with cross-functional personnel to resolve problems.
- Verify ECO documentation packages for completeness and accuracy.
- Follow up on completed ECOs to ensure continued accuracy.
- Communicate ECO impact with appropriate personnel.
- Assist in transacting excess and obsolete inventory.
- Responsible for maintaining bills of material in MRP database.
- Maintain appropriate additional documentation for process metrics.
- Willing and able to travel, as some travel may be required.
- All other duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Qualifications
We seek highly skilled and motivated individuals who meet the following requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Manufacturing Engineering, or equivalent.
- 3-5+ years of experience in an engineering and/or manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes including assembly and test.
- Understanding of board level manufacturing and assembly (PCB/PCA).
- Strong knowledge of MS Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project.
- Working knowledge of quality systems and/or methodologies and regulatory requirements.
- Knowledge of electronic and mechanical components.
- Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with PCB layout and schematic capture tools is highly desired.
- Ability to thrive in, and adapt to, a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers and cross-functional teams.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
