Job Overview:
E Smith Contractors LLC is seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team. As a key member of our estimating department, you will be responsible for determining the costs associated with industrial and residential projects. We offer a dynamic work environment and a competitive salary range of $90,000 - $140,000 per year.

About the Role:
The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of building codes and be proficient in using software such as Plan Swift and Microsoft Office Product Suite. You will work closely with project managers to ensure accurate estimates and effective communication with clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyzing blueprints to determine wire lengths and the amount of materials needed for each project.
  • Determining the amount of labor required to complete each project.
  • Obtaining pricing from vendors and subcontractors for bids.
  • Preparing bid forms and breakdowns, as well as assisting project managers with change order pricing.
  • Participating in value engineering exercises and determining the potential profitability of projects.
  • Developing and maintaining professional relationships within the industry and participating in design build and design assist processes.
  • Proficient in Plan Swift Software and Microsoft Office Product Suite
