We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse Manager to lead our Step-Down Trauma Unit. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the highest standards of nursing practice.
Key Responsibilities- Provide leadership and direction to the nursing team to ensure safe and effective patient care.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and hospital standards.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care and communication.
- Monitor and evaluate the quality of care provided and implement improvements as needed.
- Recruit, train, and develop nursing staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to provide high-quality care.
- Current RN licensure in the state of Florida.
- ASN required, BSN preferred.
- American Heart Association BLS certification.
- ACLS certification within 6 months of hire or transfer.
- 3 years of experience in an acute care setting.
- Management specialty certification required within 6 months of eligibility.
