OSP Inspector II

Mountain Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled OSP Inspector II to join our team in the Grants Pass, OR area.

Job Summary:

The OSP Inspector II will be responsible for ensuring that all client underground, buried, and aerial plant facilities meet current standards through inspections and corrections work performed by contractors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct inspections and audits to ensure compliance with OSP Construction Standards
• Document all inspections, audits, and pole transfers electronically
• Communicate effectively via email and cellular phone
• Perform inspections, audits, and transfers manually using printed spreadsheets when necessary
• Familiarity with mapping/GPS technology

Requirements:

• Previous experience performing NESC inspections or working on an aerial cable line crew
• Previous experience performing wooden pole ground line inspections
• Proficiency in OSP Construction Standards
• Familiarity with the National Electric Safety Code
• Computer experience: Microsoft Windows XP, Excel 2003 or newer, and Outlook
• Experience with mapping tools such as Microsoft MapPoint 2009 or newer is preferred
• Good communication skills
• Personal time management and organization skills
• Construction contractor management skills
• A valid driver's license and ability to travel on short notice
