OSP Inspector II

Mountain Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled OSP Inspector II to join our team in the Grants Pass, OR area.

The OSP Inspector II will be responsible for ensuring that all client underground, buried, and aerial plant facilities meet current standards through inspections and corrections work performed by contractors.

• Conduct inspections and audits to ensure compliance with OSP Construction Standards and the National Electric Safety Code.
• Document all inspections, audits, and pole transfers electronically.
• Communicate effectively with clients and contractors via email and cellular phone.
• Perform inspections, audits, and transfers manually using printed spreadsheets when necessary.
• Familiarity with mapping/GPS technology is required.

• Previous experience performing NESC inspections or working on an aerial cable line crew.
• Previous experience performing wooden pole ground line inspections.
• Must be proficient in OSP Construction Standards.
• Familiarity with the National Electric Safety Code.

• Microsoft Windows XP, Excel 2003 or newer, and Outlook.
• Experience with mapping tools such as Microsoft MapPoint 2009 or newer is preferred.
• Familiar and comfortable with internet usage and web page browsing.
• Good communication skills.
• Personal time management and organization skills.
• Construction contractor management skills.
• A valid driver's license and ability to travel on short notice.
