Key Responsibilities- Financial Management
- Oversee local billing operations, ensuring compliance with CPT and ICD10 regulations.
- Monitor daily transactions and reports for productions and collections, and daily deposits.
- Personnel Management
- Responsible for maintaining work schedules for providers.
- Communicate the organizational financial status to associates (including providers) on a monthly basis.
- Operational Management
- Coordinate revisions to charges as appropriate, working with PBS on denial management.
- Ensure compliance with charging and billing activity.
- Leadership and Development
- Link mission, vision, and values to everyday work for employees, setting expectations and adjusting priorities as circumstances change.
- Create an atmosphere of continuous learning, providing training needed for staff to be successful.
- Accountability and Compliance
- Establish formal means of accountability from those to whom duties are assigned.
- Ensure all associates are given regular, timely feedback on performance with appropriate consequences for good and poor performance.
- Business Development
- Direct the business and financial affairs of the practice, employing a system of accountability to ensure responsible fiscal management.
- Represent the organization in its relationships with community businesses and civic associations, government agencies, and professional organizations.
- Additional Responsibilities
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Must be in good physical condition and able to withstand the stress and demands of an active position.
- Manual dexterity, good eye/hand coordination, and acceptable vision are required in daily work.
- Education
- Bachelor's degree or 10 years' experience in physician office management will be accepted in lieu of degree.
- Experience
- 8 years healthcare experience, including 3-5 years as a practice manager.
- Preferred Requirements
- Master's degree.
- 5-8 years at a management level.
