Job Title: Customer Service Writer/Advisor

Job Summary:

We are seeking a customer-focused and solution-driven individual to join our team as a Customer Service Writer/Advisor. This role will serve as the liaison between our customers and our repair facilities, ensuring seamless communication and exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage in all customer communication from original appointment call or visit to RO closing and customer pickup.
  • Obtain actual mileage and VIN from vehicle and note any damage at drop off.
  • Run warranty coverage and recalls for chassis and engine on every vehicle that arrives.
  • Use diagnostic write-up sheets whenever possible.
  • Enter customer follow-up time on every case (if diagnostic required within 2 hours of drop off).
  • Enter customer requested completion time on every case rolled into work order.
  • Schedule all sublet repairs on work order for completion. Work with Foreman for scheduling.
  • Update customers with any changes in estimate amount or completion time.

Requirements:

  • Customer-focused and solution-driven individual.
  • Ability to adapt and learn new computer systems and programs.
  • Basic computer skills with Outlook, Word, Excel, and Internet.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to stay organized with several projects and programs going simultaneously.
  • Ability to communicate in multiple languages and a mechanical aptitude are preferred.
