Position Overview:
We are seeking a proactive, detail-oriented, and highly skilled Construction Attorney to enhance our esteemed legal team.

The successful candidate will be tasked with managing construction defect litigation and defense cases. This position offers a unique chance to tackle complex and challenging legal issues within the construction sector.The ideal candidate will possess a solid foundation in construction law, demonstrate strategic thinking, and exhibit outstanding negotiation abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Offer legal counsel and insights on a broad spectrum of construction-related matters, including contract disputes, construction defects, and defense strategies.
- Draft, review, and negotiate various construction contracts, encompassing design-build, EPC, and traditional design-bid-build agreements.
- Represent the organization in construction defect litigation, formulating robust defense strategies and solutions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to comprehend project goals, identify legal risks, and provide strategic legal counsel.
- Conduct legal research and prepare legal documents, including memoranda, pleadings, motions, and discovery materials.
- Stay informed on developments in construction law, regulations, and industry practices that may affect the organization.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Must be a member in good standing with the state bar.
- A minimum of 2+ years of experience as a Construction Attorney, with a focus on construction defect and defense.
- Demonstrated experience in managing construction defect litigation and defense matters.
- Strong understanding of construction law, contract law, and dispute resolution processes.
- Exceptional negotiation, research, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the capacity to make sound legal judgments.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to foster relationships with clients and stakeholders.
