Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Service and Support Administrator to join our team at Mahoning County Board of Developmental Disabilities. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in providing support and services to individuals with developmental disabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, monitor, and implement individual service plans to ensure the best possible outcomes for our clients.
  • Provide crisis intervention, information, and referral services to individuals seeking assistance from our county board.
  • Perform on-call 24-hour crisis intervention as scheduled to ensure the safety and well-being of our clients.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to valuing diversity and contributing to an inclusive working environment.
  • Engage with others using understanding and empathy to build strong relationships with our clients and their families.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Must hold or be eligible for and maintain Service and Support Administration DODD Certification.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Social Work or a related field.
  • Minimum one year of full-time work experience with individuals who have developmental disabilities.
  • Demonstrated commitment to valuing diversity and contributing to an inclusive working environment.
  • Ability to engage others with understanding and empathy.
Working Conditions

This position involves working with children and/or adults who have developmental disabilities. We offer a 40-hour workweek with flexible and variable hours, typically Monday through Friday from 8am to 4pm.
