The Sales Manager - Honda National Sales will play a critical role in supporting American Honda Motor Co., Inc. in achieving its sales objectives. This position will be responsible for leading the sales strategy for Post Production Options (PPO) and ensuring high vehicle turn rates to increase profitability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a sales strategy for PPO that aligns with the company's objectives.
  • Manage APEX dealer allocation to distribute vehicles effectively and equitably to all regions.
  • Collaborate with the S&PP department to balance production model mix between Dealer allocation, Zone business needs, company vehicle business, Fleet Management business, and Export business.
  • Oversee the development of all reporting and ad hoc analysis to support sales objectives.
  • Provide support to dealers and field teams to ensure successful sales outcomes.
Requirements
  • 4-year bachelor's degree in business or organizational leadership, or a relevant degree.
  • Equivalent job experience and proven leadership capabilities and skills.
  • Extensive knowledge of and experience with PC-based tools and applications.
  • 3+ years of experience in Honda/Acura Sales, Training, Business Development, Market Representation experience, or equivalent.
  • 7+ years of experience in automotive-related experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage projects and lead strategy-based discussions.
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint background.
