Job Title: Video Production Intern

Our National Conversation (ONC) is seeking a highly motivated and creative Video Production Intern to contribute to our mission of providing nonpartisan news, opinions, and policy solutions.

Job Summary

The Video Production Intern will assist with the production of short-form and long-form media, including ONC's "Allow Us to Explain" YouTube series, ONC-hosted debates, and other educational content. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of video editing software, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with the production of video content, including editing, graphics, and sound design
  • Develop and propose strategies to improve content and engagement
  • Collaborate with the Video Production Team Lead and Director of Media to ensure timely delivery of projects
  • Communicate effectively with other ONC team members through Slack, Email, and Zoom
Requirements
  • Working towards a degree in Film, Video & Graphic Arts, Film/Video Production, or a related field
  • Familiarity with common video editing software
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
  • Google Workspace experience preferred
