Key Responsibilities- Provide day-to-day supervision for the EVS department, ensuring a consistently high level of environmental hygiene and aesthetics to patients, visitors, and staff.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, financial stewardship of department operations, and collaboration with other management team members to support the department in its daily functions.
- Train and develop a highly equipped and engaged Environmental Services Team using evidence-based techniques, process, and mission metrics (KPIs) to ensure a clean and safe environment.
- Supervise the day-to-day operations of the department, ensuring a clean and safe environment and aesthetics to patients, family, visitors, physicians, nurses, and staff.
- High School diploma or GED, required
- 3 Years in Environmental Services, required
- Preferred 1 Year in supervisory level experience in supervising staff
- Certified Healthcare Environmental Services Professional (CHESP) certification preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of team members and management
- Strong working knowledge of MS Office Suite, MS Project, PM software, and EVS software systems preferred
- Experience with typical EVS equipment/machinery
- Demonstrates strong working knowledge of the principles of environmental infection prevention and control
- Demonstrates strong working knowledge of OSHA, TJC, DOT, CDC Policy and Standard Work development/implementation
This position is expected to have a start date in early November. Shift times: 1st shift: 7a-3:30p; 2nd shift: 2:30p-11p.
