Key Responsibilities:

  1. Efficiently process guest orders, ensuring timely and accurate preparation of all menu items.
  2. Present and serve beverages, including wine, with professionalism.
  3. Monitor guest satisfaction throughout the meal, addressing any additional requests promptly.
  4. Handle billing and payment transactions, referring to supervisors when necessary.
  5. Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the menu and beverage offerings, actively promoting items to enhance guest experience.
  6. Utilize the Point of Sale (P.O.S.) system in accordance with operational guidelines.
  7. Ensure personal appearance meets company standards, with a clean and pressed uniform.
  8. Prepare dining tables with spotless cutlery, china, and glassware.
  9. Be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
  10. Assist with clearing and resetting tables between courses, ensuring a smooth dining flow.
  11. Complete all side duties as assigned before the end of each shift, preparing for the next service period.
  12. Uphold the values and service standards of the company in all interactions.
  13. Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and sanitation standards.
  14. Physically manage the lifting and carrying of items as necessary for service.
  15. Adapt to working in varying temperature environments and potential double shifts based on business needs.

Qualifications:

  1. High school diploma or equivalent.
  2. Prior experience in a full-service dining environment is required, with a preference for candidates with fine dining or upscale restaurant experience.
  3. Strong commitment to delivering exceptional guest service and anticipating needs.
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, providing warm and gracious hospitality.
  5. Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  6. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  7. Proactive approach with sound judgment and initiative.
  8. Professional demeanor and appearance in line with company standards.
  9. Must be at least 18 years of age.

Physical Requirements:

  1. Ability to lift and carry weights of 25-50 pounds and manage serving trays effectively.
  2. Frequent walking and standing required.
  3. Work in a restaurant or kitchen setting with some exposure to physical risks, necessitating adherence to safety protocols.
  4. Potential for working in high-temperature areas and extended shifts based on operational demands.
