Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Site Development Engineer to join our municipal practice team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for planning and designing water main, sanitary sewer, storm sewer, and road infrastructure projects for local municipalities and universities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Designing various site development projects, including direct engineering for clients and supporting other departments with civil engineering needs.
  • Performing design calculations, quantifying bid items, developing cost estimates, executing CAD drafting, and preparing reports.
  • Managing projects and project teams throughout all phases, including due diligence, approvals, permitting, final design, and construction.
  • Collaborating with technical staff across offices to provide consulting engineering services to state and private universities, municipalities, and local development clients.
  • Working closely with marketing and technical teams to secure consulting services contracts with universities, national retailers, municipalities, and local developers, leveraging existing relationships and contacts.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering
  • Professional Engineering license preferred
  • 5+ years' experience
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Civil 3D software
