Job Title: Director of Pre-Construction & Estimation

At Construction Execs, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Pre-Construction & Estimation to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing relationships with customers, identifying available jobs, and preparing quantity take-offs, cost estimates, and bid documents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Scoping: Coordinate with clients to establish project scope and standards, assessing scope, location, and other relevant aspects.
  • Subcontractor Management: Communicate projects to subcontractors, solicit pricing, and identify new subcontractors in specific divisions of labor.
  • Bid Preparation: Prepare bids in accordance with project scope and company profitability requirements.
  • Construction Management: Manage field construction teams to complete projects on schedule and within budget.
  • Management Reporting: Provide visibility into project budget, profitability, and schedule, alerting management of potential issues.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Building Construction, Construction Management, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in corporate, industrial, or commercial estimation.
  • Strong financial and analytical skills, with attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of building codes, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical codes, and laws regulating building construction.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience managing projects in the field.
