Head Chef/Kitchen Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Chef/Kitchen Manager to lead our culinary team at Gecko Hospitality PACO. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our kitchen, ensuring the highest quality of food and service, and maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of chefs and kitchen staff to achieve exceptional food quality and presentation
  • Develop and implement menus that meet customer expectations and profitability goals
  • Manage food production operations within budgeted guidelines for quality assurance standards and labor costs
  • Ensure compliance with kitchen safety and sanitation standards
  • Mentor and develop team members to improve their skillset and productivity
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Head Chef/Kitchen Manager in a high-volume environment
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members
  • Excellent culinary skills and knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and make decisions quickly
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
