Job Title: Commercial Market Executive

Cypress Bank & Trust is seeking a seasoned Commercial Market Executive to join our team in North Florida. As a key member of our commercial banking team, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and building strong relationships with businesses and their owners in our target market.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead local business development activities to promote our products and services, maintain a positive image, and develop full banking relationships with commercial clients.
  • Identify and originate new commercial and personal relationships, while managing and maintaining key relationships in the market.
  • Manage assigned goals for loans, deposits, and business lines.
  • Cross-sell related banking services, including Treasury Management, deposit products, and referrals to Professional Banking partners.
  • Represent the bank in industry and professional associations, community organizations, and local business groups, promoting our favorable image and staying current on market trends.
  • Develop information on businesses and borrowing needs, repayment abilities, and business earnings to determine loan acceptability.
  • Gather personal information about clients and businesses to ensure informed creditworthiness decisions.
  • Manage the Annual Review process of existing client credit exposure with Commercial Support Specialist partners.
  • Utilize internal customer relationship management systems and other bank tools for day-to-day management of existing client portfolios and prospect management.
  • Maintain credit quality of assigned portfolios through collaboration with credit partners.
  • Proactively manage past dues, maintain an acceptable risk tolerance, and manage problem loan situations.
  • Fulfill responsibilities under the Bank Secrecy Act and Anti-Money Laundering regulations.
Requirements:
  • College degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Finance, or Marketing.
  • Minimum 5 years of prior work experience in loan production, commercial and real estate lending, loan portfolio administration, and product sales.
  • Experience managing a portfolio of commercial clients exceeding $2 MM.
  • Advanced skills with Microsoft Office suite, specifically Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Expertise in commercial and real estate underwriting practices, with a balanced knowledge of regulatory governance of commercial lending activities.
  • Five to ten years of experience in credit analysis and/or commercial lending.
  • Experience with Monday.com.
