About the Role

PSI Services is seeking a highly skilled Intervention Specialist to join our team of dedicated professionals. As an Intervention Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting students with special needs in our partner schools.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaboration and Teamwork: Work closely with teachers, parents, and other staff members to develop and implement Individualized Educational Programs (IEPs), Service Plans (SPs), and other intervention programs.
  • Student Support: Provide accommodations, modifications, and interventions to students with disabilities, ensuring they have access to the general education content standards.
  • Instructional Support: Collaborate with general education teachers to develop specialized instruction that maximizes students' access to the general education content standards.
  • Progress Monitoring: Complete written IEP and/or ISP progress reports at least as frequently as general education progress reports are written (minimum of once quarterly).
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred.
  • Licensure: Current ODE license as an Intervention Specialist required.
  • Experience: Experience teaching in special education preferred.
  • Knowledge: Well-versed in state and federal special education law.
  • Skills: Exceptional interpersonal skills, ability to build relationships with students, parents, and other staff members, and ability to maintain high levels of confidentiality and use sound judgment.
