Part Time Evening Cleaner (Industrial)

Job Responsibilities:
As a part-time evening cleaner, you will be responsible for executing assigned cleaning tasks efficiently and consistently, adhering to the established schedule. Your duties will encompass:
- Thorough cleaning of 13 restrooms, including toilets, urinals, partitions, sinks, counters, mirrors, floors, and walls.
- Restocking restroom supplies such as paper products and soap.
- Cleaning and maintaining a large lunchroom and office area.
- Responding promptly to customer requests and work orders.
- Collaborating effectively with fellow team members.
- Following all company protocols regarding safety, time management, and uniform standards.
- Operating and maintaining specialized cleaning equipment.
- Reporting any maintenance issues related to the building or equipment to your supervisor.
Qualifications:
Ideal candidates will possess a background that reflects a strong work ethic and a sense of responsibility. Key qualifications include:
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Willingness to work in various conditions, including damp and dusty environments, and to handle cleaning of bodily fluids when necessary.
- Physical capability to lift up to 35 lbs. and carry a backpack vacuum cleaner weighing 12 lbs.
- Ability to remain on your feet throughout the shift, engaging in activities such as walking, bending, stooping, and reaching.
- Steel toe shoes are mandatory.
- Reliable transportation is essential, as the job is not accessible via public transport during evening hours.
- Dependability is crucial; candidates must consistently report to work as scheduled.
- Successful completion of a detailed background check is required prior to employment.
- Must adhere to a drug-free workplace policy and be willing to undergo drug and alcohol testing.
Work Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 4 hours per night, with a start time between 5:30 PM and 6:00 PM.
Compensation:
$16.00 per hour, with an attendance bonus available.
