Lucayan Technology Solutions LLC is seeking an Access Control Personnel to support the Naval Surface Warfare Center Philadelphia Division (NSWCPD), a Department of Defense entity responsible for research and development, test and evaluation, engineering and fleet support organization for the Navy's ships, submarines, military watercraft and unmanned vehicles. This requirement is for NSWCPD Code 105, Security Division, which is responsible for the security and safety of NSWCPD personnel. This is a Full Time role (M-F, 5:00am - 4:30pm).

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and control access to premises to ensure the security and safety of personnel and property
• Screen and authorize entry of employees, visitors, and guests
• Enforce access control procedures and policies
• Handle incoming and outgoing traffic, ensuring proper documentation and identification
• Maintain surveillance through security cameras and alarm systems
• Respond to and resolve security breaches, conflicts, and incidents
• Provide excellent customer service and address inquiries or concerns
• Prepare and maintain accurate reports of daily activities and incidents
• Coordinate with emergency services when required
• Conduct regular inspections to identify and address potential security risks

Clearance Requirements: Secret

Essential Qualifications:

• First Aid/CPR certification
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proven experience in access control or a related field
• Excellent knowledge of security protocols and procedures
• Strong observational and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to handle stressful situations with composure
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions

Desired Experience:

• Previous experience in access control or security roles
• Familiarity with surveillance systems and equipment
• Knowledge of emergency response and evacuation procedure
