Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled all-source intelligence analyst to contribute to our mission at USSPACECOM J2/JIOC. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, enjoys conducting thorough research, and proactively identifies new areas for in-depth analysis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive research and analysis utilizing intelligence and information from various sources to evaluate, interpret, predict, and clarify a spectrum of national security challenges and developments.
  • Provide all-source analytical support for collection efforts, operations, and other defense intelligence requirements.
  • Structure analyses based on reporting trends and diverse analytical perspectives from fellow analysts, organizations, and intelligence disciplines.
  • Demonstrate the ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision, engaging with and fulfilling analysis and production requirements.
  • Collaborate with DEFSMAC and NASIC to enhance information sharing, drive collection efforts, and resolve analytical disputes.
  • Develop concise, insightful, and comprehensive products for defense intelligence, contributing to presentations for senior leadership briefings.
  • Salary range is $90,000 - $94,000.

Required Qualifications

  • TS/SCI clearance with CI polygraph, or willingness to obtain a CI poly if not currently held.
  • A minimum of three years of all-source intelligence experience and a bachelor's degree, or seven years of experience without a bachelor's degree.
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment background investigation is mandatory.

Preferred Qualifications

  • At least 8 years of experience in conducting analysis, with a portion of that experience within the last 2 years.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
  • Familiarity with DIA production guidelines and dissemination processes.
  • Experience or familiarity with USSPACECOM or its components and the space mission.
