At Wellpath, we are committed to providing quality care to every patient with compassion, collaboration, and innovation. As a Psychologist in a correctional or detention facility, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of those who need it most.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide clinical and consultation services consistent with professional standards and institutional policies and procedures.
  • Conduct direct clinical services including diagnosis, treatment, psychological testing, and crisis intervention.
  • Ensure compliance with ethical and professional standards of care and participate in quality improvement activities.
  • Develop and implement goals and objectives for clinical services and assist in staff recruitment and selection.
  • Notify appropriate personnel of serious incidents and provide professional education and staff development as needed.
Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Doctorate in psychology and experience with mental health delivery systems.
  • Significant professional experience in the mental field that indicates knowledge of diagnosis and treatment of psychological disorders and psychological evaluation techniques, including psychological assessment instruments.
  • Licensed to practice psychology in the State of employment by the appropriate state licensing agency.
